literal locks of love!

Dear Margie,
Today I wandered around Paris for a few hours.  It was an awesome time, but I couldn't help but wish that you were with me.  Not only would it make me less nervous about getting pick-pocketed, but I wished I had someone to share the beauty of the city with me.

There is this awesome bridge where people put locks to symbolize their love for each other, usually writing names and dates and such on the locks.  Literal locks of love!  I felt a little silly doing it by myself, but I bought you a lock, wrote on it, and added it to the thousands of others on a bridge over the Seine River.

I got a video for you, but blogger won't upload it, so you'll have to wait for it.  Oh, and the tradition is that you throw the key into the river, and I did that...but the lock came with 3 keys.  So I gave the other two to random strangers on the road...jk!!  I kept them for us!

2 pink chairs

I was sitting in the library downtown, and I looked out the window and saw these two bright pink chairs on top of the roof of that building. I thought it was so cute and awesome! Wish that we could go sit in them together. :)
